What are the two jumpers doing?  And what is the normal/standard setting?  Should they be inserted or left out?

What is your PCB revision number?
What is the name (JMPx) of the 2 jumpers you are asking about?

Board says Rev 1.6

Thanks,

JMP1 is used during the test (step 1 and step 8) to check the pre without the DI plugin.
JMP2 is used during the test (step 6) to check the DOA.

I followed the test set instructions.  I have JMP2 inserted and JMP1 not inserted.  I was asking because I read a review about the 599 having jumpers that alter the ratio of the input and output transformers:

https://gearspace.com/board/reviews/1007611-sound-skulptor-mp-5-99-a.html

But I don't see anything in any of the 599 docs that talk about the jumpers doing anything to the transformers.  That review is 5 years old, did a previous version of the 599 have jumpers for the transformers?

Thanks!

Yes, the option was available in the previous version. It was removed in the current version because of little interest.
