I assembled two TS500 units. First one is working fine, test setup worked well.

The second unit is not working correct: The DRIVE knob has little to no function

Output Signal is quieter when unit is ON. Output Signal is much louder when unit is OFF (bypassed)
> With DRIVE and OUTPUT on 10 and an input signal of 0.4VAC I get
- Unit ON = o.126 VAC (measured on XLR Outputs)
- Unit OFF = 1.254 VAC (measured on XLR Outputs)

Is there a way to check the poti easily? I am still very new to DIY, though I paid great attention to every detail in the build. Not sure what could have gotten wrong.

Thanks!
Julian

Please give me another 30 minutes to check. I think I'm on the right track, I discovered a badly soldered IC and will test again.

Though I discovered the two potis differ in value. Measuring 10.35k on the OUTPUT (P2) and 8.7k on the INPUT (P1).

I will report ;-)
