Title: GND Pin
Post by: jfrancomb on April 01, 2021, 05:55:36 PM
So I am trying to go through the testing document, but the first step says to check for resistance between the GND pin and the V+ / V- pins.

The issue is that I am not seeing a ground test pin. I count 8 pins but none of them are GND. Is there something I’m missing here?

Thanks

In this case 0V equals GND. Little mislieading in the document ;)

Yes is this case GND = 0V.
If you see nothing on the ohmmeter, this is good news! It means the meter doesn't see a resistance between the power rail and the 0V which also means there is no short-circuit.
