Title: May have overheated rotaries
Post by: esppse on March 17, 2021, 07:16:37 AM
Hello,

My Hi band and lo band rotary switches are extremely glitch. I think I may have overheated the rotaries and the solder terminals may have internally shifted. Unless it is a different issue. I did try cleaner but that was ineffective.

Which replacement rotaries are available for this repair? And is there a much sturdier one available as well?

Thanks

This is not normal. You must attach the frequency knobs (the red ones) low against the faceplate in order to limit any off axis movement.
The hipass switch can be purchased here: https://www.buerklin.com/en/Multistep-rotary-switch-1-2-x-6-contacts-5-0-VA/p/16G222
The other ones are special order. Send me an email here (https://www.soundskulptor.com/en/content/6-contact).
