Title: Test Voltages incorrect
Post by: swankydin on November 08, 2021, 06:18:50 PM
I've built my CP4500 but the test point voltages are reading incorrect voltages and I'm having a hard time troubleshooting the problem.  When I test from my case, the readings I get are as follows:
V+: 5.78V
V-: -25.99V
+12: 1.948V
-12V: -21.98V

Any suggestions as to what I've done wrong would be appreciated!  I've gone over the solder points multiple times and just can't find the problem...

It looks like your meter black probe is not properly connected to the 0V.
Check the solder joint on the 0V test pin.
Check that the finger connector at the back of the unit is clean of any solder flux.
