DI02

The DI02 is a dual direct input for instruments. It is a high input impedance FET based active stage that lowers the instrument level and impedance to make it compatible with the microphone input of the preamplifiers. The instrument signal is routed to the input of the mic pre, going through the input transformer to retain its full sonic signature.

The DI02 board is also used to dispatch the power supply to the mic pre boards. It comes with:

- 4 pre-assembled flat cables for mic pre board connection
- 1 XLR chassis plug
- 1 PSU XLR/XLR cable (optionally assembled)

Difficulty level

This kit is very easy to build, except for the XLR/XLR PSU cable which can optionally be purchased already built. The wiring of the 5 pins XLR's needs some skill and we recommend the beginners to choose the "built" option for this cable.
